As part of our commitment we aim to dispatch all sharpening orders within 24- 48 hours, but during our busy periods, August – March we can take up to 4 days. Sharpening received after 2pm on a Friday or over a weekend will not be processed until the Monday.
When we receive your blades and scissors, your order is dismantled and placed into its own pod. We then engrave the blades with your initials and the date received. Once sharpened by our technician they go through our cleaning and polishing process before being packed into our own branded boxes.
Posting your Blades and Scissors
Here at Blades Services we will do everything possible to make your like easy. Our system is very straight forward in sending us your sharpening requirements. Download our royal-mail-label and place it to the front of a 25cm x 35 cm padded envelope or small box. This will cover you to send us a total of 9 items to include clipper blades and scissors, however it does not cover for insurance. For an additional £4.50 please take to your local Post Office and pay the addition to cover up to £500.
Packing your items for Sharpening
Ensure your blades and scissors are clean and free from hair. Dirty equipment is liable for a £10 cleaning charge. To avoid damage, wrap your items well. Avoid using sellotape around the tips of scissors as this will cause further damage to your scissors.
Completing an Order Form
Download a bladesorderfm to include your full name, address, contact telephone number and email address with as much detail you can about your equipment. If when we receive your equipment we find blade teeth missing, we will call you before we start to dismantle your order.
Tools of your trade are a major investment, and that makes looking after them very important. Please pay for your clipper blade and scissor sharpening via our shop and include your receipt, pop them into the post and we will take care of the rest.
